The best part of my job is all the wonderful people that I have the opportunity to meet on a daily basis.  But twice a year we get the chance to visit The National Bridal Market in Chicago or New York and get up close and personal with the people who create the pieces that become the wedding gowns of all of our dreams.

Since we opened the boutique back in 2005 there was a brand that I was aware of called Private Label by G.  And everyone who knows me and knows this line would joke that I should carry this brand in our store, because as a child (and even still now) my close friends and family always called me “G”.  I thought that it would be just too weird and silly to have a line in the store with a connection like that to my name so I never gave the line much thought.  Well that all changed when I received an email 2 years ago with this image in it…..KW

Pretty amazing right?!  I couldn’t resist so I immediately responded and set up our appointment to meet with our now amazing sales rep Craig.  Once we got to Bridal Market and got to see the dresses in person I was amazed at how they were even more beautiful in person and the price point for the quality and detail was on point!  As we sat in their showroom getting to know Craig, who I cannot say enough wonderful things about, we hit it off right away.  He then introduced me to two lovely gentleman brothers Kenneth and Winston.  Yep, you got it Kenneth Winston is actually 2 people and they are brothers how awesome is that?!

Aren’t they the cutest?  Anyway KennethWinstonthey were so kind and gracious, and really took the time to chat with us.  I loved that just like us they were a family business, started by their parents 30 years ago.  In more recent years Kenneth and Winston have stepped into the spotlight and have worked very hard to take Private Label by G into a new phase to what we know today as Kenneth Winston.   It has been an absolute pleasure to carry their gowns in our store and they very quickly have become some of our top selling styles.  I have been with them now for 4 seasons and every season I am so impressed with how innovative they continue to be and amazed at the quality for the price point.  This line looks and feels so high end but for a fraction of the couture price tag, it doesn’t get much better than that.

Since I know you all just want to see more gorgeous gowns I am going to leave you with a few of my favorite styles from the Spring 2016 Kenneth Winston Collection.  Enjoy!

Style 1640   This gown is absolutely more stunning in person.  You can’t see how beautiful the bead work is in the photos and the ivory lace over the champagne lining and tulle gives it amazing dimension and really allows the lace to pop.   All of this gorgeousness wouldn’t be complete without my favorite detail the dramatic back.

Style 1644 I will admit this caplet is not for everyone however on the right bride this unadorned lace gown is a show stopper!  I can’t tell you how many people stopped to take photos of it when it was in our window.  The photo on the right is the dress by itself.  It is a soft, light, romantic gown that would be perfect for an outdoor wedding.

And then there is Style 1653.  I was so hesitant to purchase this gown because I thought, “It’s beautiful, but could I ever sell it?”  Well am I glad I went with the encouragement of my Mom and Craig and got it.  This dress couldn’t be more breathtaking.  It is such a fantasy dress that it often has brides just staring at it wondering what kind of wedding would they be having if they were wearing this dress? My answer is you are having the most fabulous wedding, that’s what kind.
